This full day tour Lisbon & Sintra combines what the best the two cities have to offer. In Lisbon we will take you to discover the Belém quarter, one of the most typical quarters of the city. It was from Belém that the Portuguese navigators set sail to discover Brazil and the Sea-route to India during the Age of the Discoveries. This is also the location of the two World Heritage Sites of the city: the famous Tower of Belém and the outstanding Jerónimos Monastery. Finally, it’s also here that one can taste the famous Pastéis de Belém, a kind of a custard tard and a typical sweet of Lisbon.

In Sintra, find out how Sintra’s mystical hills dotted with fairytale palaces and extravagant villas have bewitched visitors for centuries and have led Unesco to classify it as a World Heritage Site. Visit the National Palace of Sintra and marvel at its two huge 33 meters high chimneys which became the emblem of Sintra. This palace was one of the favourite summer residences of the Portuguese Kings and Queens. Its walls are decorated with the oldest glazed tiles to be found in Portugal and the scenic effect is just amazing.
